Yoga for me is a "sacred" thing... or perhaps some would say, a "spiritual" event...

I've been practicing yoga for 24 years and I can't imagine practicing it in a group. When I first heard about yoga classes I thought that you'd learn there How to Practice It, then you'd practice at home... it took me a while to realize that some people actually practice yoga in groups.

For me yoga is a very meditative process and I can't imagine being able to get centered and totally relaxed if I was surrounded by good looking women (I'm a guy) or anyone, for that matter.

I was glad to read your post to find that I'm not alone in believing that yoga is a solo-practice activity... while I also understand that some people view it as good exercise and stay motivated if in group environment...
